Jonathan Elbers graduated in 2012 from the Dutch Film Academy. His graduation movie ‘The Club of the Ugly Children’ was awarded on numerous international children film festivals. He’s passionate about directing comedy stories with loveable characters and surprising the audience with worlds (realistic of fantasy), they have never seen before.

Upon graduating, he began directing short films and commercials. His commercial for the film academy (2013) and for LG (2014) both won a Cannes Young Director Award. Jonathan is now developing a screenplay for a dark comedy and a series about fairytales.
