Jason de Vyea - Senior Producer

Jason de Vyea is an experienced Creative Director, Commercial and Film Producer and is now emerging as one of the UK film industries' most interesting and exciting new filmmakers.

In 2010, after a successful number of years working in Soho's production-houses, he launched his own creative agency – RUN Creative (RUN) – where he established a number of long-term, creative and design partnerships working with international ad agencies and directly with dozens of major global brand names including adidas, British Airways, Samsung, Red Bull, John Frieda, and Vodafone to name a few - where he was responsible for devising and producing numerous commercial and digital projects. During this time he produced music videos for artists such as Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music), Tinie Tempah, Above & Beyond, and Major Lazer and developed a number of successful, strategic brand marketing and commercially viable direct partnerships with major brand names including Clarks, Sky, Revlon, and P&G, where during this period he oversaw hundreds of productions over a decade of management.

In 2011, he was one of the lead producers on adidas’ global rebrand entitled ‘All In.’ Organising news syndication, overseeing production and post-production of simultaneous experiential events involving artists such as Justice, projection mapping, and large scale events across Europe. Then in 2012 he acted as a production consultant and provided senior oversight during the London Olympics for its major sponsor Procter & Gamble.

Other memorable achievements include his Creative Director role for Total Rock. Involved in the senior team during the acquisition of Metal Hammer, Prog Rock and Classic Rock magazines. he was instrumental in the fundraising of £1m of grants from Scottish Enterprise, as well as producing the broadcast award shows for Sky Arts, and guiding them into the digital arena.

He played a key role as part of a DRTV executive team who took the multi-channel retailer, HIGH STREET TV from a £14M business to £67M in less than three years – growth of +378%. He produced the video side of the brand marketing strategy for NUTRIBULLET established NutriBullet as the largest and most successful ever DRTV As Seen on TV Products in UK history. He and his team then replicated this model with continued success with global brands JML and Gtech.

In recent years, Jason has diversified into becoming one of the UK’s fast emerging independent film producers as well as expanding his offering into representing some of the best creative talents in both film and commercial production.

His first feature in 2016, “BLACK AND BLUE” told the remarkable life and experience of the first-ever black footballer to play for Chelsea F.C., during an era where racial discrimination, bigotry and violence were customary in sport, it’s fans and Britain. Sky Sports 1 acquired the film for exclusive distribution. Not counting On-Demand the programme did 328k peak on it’s first prime time showing with Sky Sports 1, which is a terrific result. Jason’s most recent feature film, “BREAKER”, directed by Wade Jackson, tells the story of a U.S. army veteran with a troubled past returning to a rural desert town where he forms a powerful friendship with a wild horse that helps to turn his life around was acquired by Vertical Entertainment at the American Film Market (AFM) last year. The film received its theatrical release in North American cinemas, July 2019.

Jason is currently working on a project for Red Bull, as well as attached to an exciting 4yr documentary production ‘MASTERS OF THE BLUE: THE SECRET CONQUEST’ as Executive Producer, exploring the ground-breaking discovery of the origins and journey of the first Human (Austronesian) explorer. He is in development on a number of feature and series projects; including Wade's next film ‘ONLY FOR BLOOD’ which is currently in packaging stages.
